may your christmas dreams come true...

 Leading up to Christmas now, and I normally love to make some xmas cards for my close friends and family, (gone are the days when I sent cards out to all and sundry)....Postage is just too expensive for me now. But was struggling with my art (again), to do something like I did last year as I really enjoyed making the "xmas tree ladies" series, (see my collages page above), but it wasn't happening as easily and happily. So I stopped put it all away, and left it for a week. And I waited till inspiration came..and it did.

I decided to try emulating a bit of Robert Burridge. I love his work, especially the birds and flowers, and the freedom and use of colour and collage.  More to come, loving making these collages and figures with just a hint of figurativeness.....Not sure whether I will add anything or change these, but may leave them just as they ARE...
